Perfect Swimsuits For Women

The biggest mistake in choosing a swimsuit is that the size does not fit the shape of body of the user. We will look silly with the wrong swimsuit. Do you want to be able to choose the perfect swimsuit for you?

When you are looking for a swimsuit, pick the suit that can cover the shortage of your body. Make your body look attractive when you are wearing the swimsuit. To make it easier, here are some tips that you can follow.

1. If you have short body posture, do not choose swimsuit with shorts. This is because it can make your body look fat.
2. Choose a swimsuit with halter-neck model. This model of suit will make you look sexier.
3. If you have small breasts, you should choose a swimsuit that has pattern. This pattern will make your body look fuller. However, if you have fatter body, avoid the patterned suit especially horizontal line or large flowers pattern. These patterns will only make you look fatter.
4. It is better for you to choose the size of the suit under your normal size. Leave the bigger size. This is because the suit will not perfectly fit with your body.
5. In choosing a swimsuit, you also have to consider the color of the suit. In this case, dark color of suit can make the effect of slender body for you. Thus, you will look slimmer.

However, the most important thing in choosing swimsuit is to select the most appropriate and comfortable suit when you are wearing it. It is no need to force yourself to buy sexy swimsuit but it makes you look embarrassing.

Choosing a Swimmable Mermaid Tail – Neoprene Tails

In my first article of this series I wrote about nylon-spandex (swimsuit fabric) mermaid tails. In this article we will look at buying and owning a neoprene tail – made from wetsuit material.

First of all, neoprene is very different from swimsuit fabrics. Made for wetsuit and scuba diving, it is made from foam of varying thicknesses, some with rubber on the outside. It is designed to float and to keep a person warm in cold water.

It is also thick fabric. Even the thinnest neoprene is thicker by far than swimsuit fabrics. So the first thing to know is that this fabric will last much longer than spandex tails, and will be much less likely to wear a hole through it. Neoprene fabric is also much more expensive than spandex swimsuit fabric, so you’ll be paying quite a bit more for a neoprene tail, and getting a much better, longer-lasting tail.

Because it floats, you can throw this tail into the water and it will simply float along on the top of the water, which looks rather funny. This buoyancy will aid you in floating, but if you’re mermaiding in salt water you will probably have to use a weight belt, like free divers and scuba divers use, in order to dive down. (Salt water pushes you up, it is so buoyant.)

Neoprene fabric stretches like spandex fabric, but not as much. Some thicker or rubber neoprene tails, which don’t stretch as easily, should include a waterproof zipper, or it will be very hard to get in and out of it, and even harder to dry out the foam on the inside of it.

Just like spandex mermaid tails, there will be some rubbing and friction going on at the fluke, whenever the swimmer stands up in the water in their tail, or pushes against the concrete pool in swimming. Neoprene won’t tear easily, but you might notice some wear at these friction points.

Note: Never, ever stand up or hop in your tail on dry ground. This is very dangerous and will certainly wear holes in your tail very quickly, no matter what it is made of.

The downside of neoprene is that it is limited when it comes to colors and prints. There is a rubber neoprene with a mermaid-scale-like texture to it, but it comes only in black. Most rubber neoprene comes only in black. The neoprene foam fabrics have some colors and prints, but they are very limited. And a plain solid foam color doesn’t look much like mermaid skin. Painting black rubber neoprene looks good enough for pictures, but the paint too easily rubs, bends or flakes off. Research is being done on other possibilities for adding shimmery colors to rubber neoprene tails.

Caring for neoprene is similar to spandex tails. Like the other, the neoprene tail needs to be rinsed out well after each swim session, to get the chlorine or salt water out of it. Since neoprene is thick foam, it needs to be unzipped and opened up, so that it can dry completely inside and out. Remove the monofin each time; with a zipper this is a cinch. You don’t want the foam inside to get moldy from not drying completely after each use. You’ll find that neoprene dries very quickly. A neoprene tail can be hand-washed in the bathtub whenever you feel it needs it.

In a subsequent article I will discuss owning a silicone-rubber mermaid tail, the most realistic-looking one available.

How to Be a Swimsuit Model Today

Walking out on the catwalk. Being showered with flashes from below. Feeling unstoppable and the hottest thing on the planet for 10 seconds. That’s the dream of someone who wants to be a swimsuit model.

So. You may be wondering on the kind of effort it takes to be one. It’s not all glamor and fame and wearing designer bikinis or boxers. If you really want to show off that swimsuit to the best possible extent, you as the model must undergo tremendous sacrifice.

We’re talking weight loss, gaining lean muscle, specific meals, specific sleep times, endless hours practicing the way to walk, the expression… and that’s only the start. Still, if you’re pretty intent on being a swimsuit model, you’re reading the right article. A resource will be provided to help shape your body so that it’s in perfect condition for that impending cat walk.

Talking to a photographer once who was doing my profile photos, he told me of his own experience being a swimsuit model. He wasn’t allowed to drink water for two days and could only eat boiled chicken. This was so the water beneath his skin would drain out so that his six-pack would look more defined. He said that his lips were parched by the end of the couple days. As you would be.

Lean muscle is pretty much your best friend when it comes to being a swimsuit model. I would presume it’s not as good as draining the water beneath your skin for two days, but lean muscle with little fat looks hot. Everyone knows that. You don’t have to get super big like strong men, but you can layer yourself with enough muscle so that you look like a demi-god.

The person who wrote the resource which I’ll provide for you at the very end of this article has modeling experience. There are pictures on his site that prove this and on emails he sent me. I’m a heterosexual guy but let me tell you that he’s hot. I’ll admit that. And that’s in the least homosexual way that I can say it. Don’t write us guys off, ladies. We know a dominant alpha male when we see one.

Maybe you just want to have the body of a model and just want to flaunt it when you go to parties and a night out on the town. What’s wrong with that? Absolutely nothing. Being a swimsuit model is no easy task. Why have all the stress of being one when you could just have the attractiveness of one, as well as much prosperity due to the success you’re pulling in from your career, where your boss is FINALLY noticing you and your new found confidence.

Whether you are hell bent on being a swimsuit model, are dreaming about being one, or simply want the body and all the other advantages that being one entitles you to, the resource below will let you have your way. All that’s left is for you to work for it!

Bikini Sports

Do you love wearing your skimpy micro bikini just about any and everywhere? If so, then here are some bikini sports that will allow you to flaunt your barely there swimsuits in competitions and friendly romps. The bikini is for more than just walking along the beach or hanging out at the pool. It’s durable and flexible enough to wear during the most rugged and robust sports around. Check out our swimwear sports list to pick an activity you can participate in for some great bikini fun.

Beach Volleyball
In the 1990’s the bikini became the official uniform of many female volleyball players. It’s worn for it’s extreme athleticism and ability to allow you to dive and reach for high and low balls without compromising comfort.

Running
Jogging or sprinting is the perfect sport for wearing your bikini. It’s extremely steady and allows you to run for exceptionally long durations while staying intact. In the Sydney 2000 Olympics, runner Florence Griffith-Joyner mixed and matched bikini bottoms with long one-legged tights. She said it made her run faster.

Handball
Everyone knows that handball is a game of speed and concentration. Wearing a bikini allows for endurance of a vigorous and sturdy game. You can be extra springy and unrestricted while bending and folding your body in various positions to hit the ball.

Wrestling
These days more women are participating in this rugged sport while wearing skimpy micro bikini. You can perform grandiose body maneuvers while looking absolutely sexy at the same time. Ruffle your opponent’s feathers by putting them in a head lock while sporting a sexy brazilian bikini.

Football
Since the emergence of the lingerie football league, women have been engaging in this sport with vigor and determination. Wearing a bikini while playing a friendly game of football with your friends is exciting and challenging. Tackle your best friend wearing a thong and watch everyone go wild.

The bikini has come a long way from just being used as tool for swimming or modeling. It has become a part of a new genre of usage that is evolving with each passing season. So the next time you feel like working up a good sweat, pull out public enemy #1 and yell “Go bikini!”

Caring For Your Mermaid Swimming Tail – Swimsuit Fabric Tails

For those of us who have discovered the wonderful new trend of mermaiding, we will find some extra challenges with the caring and keeping of our mermaid swim tail.

First of all, with the monofin inside, the tail is quite long and large. This is only a little awkward when carrying it to the pool, but when it’s dripping wet and water-logged, it is very heavy and awkward. So the first thing you need is a rather large, waterproof tote for your tail. It will probably be big enough that you can also put in your towel, swimsuit, water bottle, goggles, etc. Finding such a large-size tote can be challenging, but you can try the thrift store for unusual bags and totes, as well as swim and dive stores and craft stores. A plastic tote would be ideal, but you could use one made of thick canvas, if you let your tail drip out before putting it into the tote. Just be sure to dry the bag out thoroughly after you unpack it at home.

To minimize the mess after swimming in your mermaid tail, drape it over a pool chair or some such structure, and let it drip out as long as possible. When you’re ready to go home, you can wrap your damp towel around the tail to minimize dripping, if necessary.

Most mermaid swim tails are made out of regular spandex swimsuit material. But some better-quality tails are made from neoprene or silicone-latex rubber (with neoprene inside). The care and keeping of all three types of tails is mostly the same, however.

Just like with any of your swimsuits, the tails will last longer if you rinse the fabric well after each use, to rinse out the chlorine or salt water. If you can rinse out under a shower head at the pool or beach, so much the better, for then you let it drip dry there before taking it home. Otherwise, as soon as you get home, you’ll need to take your tail and rinse it well, either in the shower or the bathtub. Then you’ll need to drape it on the edge of the tub as best you can so that it can drip out for a while. Once the dripping is pretty much done, you can lay the tail flat on towels, a clean rug or a drying rack, and let it finish drying. Some people might remove the monofin each time, but I find that that is a lot of extra, unnecessary work. I always just drape the tail to drip dry, then dry flat the rest of the way. It might take a good 18-24 hours for it to dry completely. I don’t suggest hanging it up by the waist, because the weight of the monofin might stretch out the material. Drying flat or draping on a drying rack is best.

With neoprene tails, you want the foam inside to dry completely. If there is a zipper, I suggest you unzip it all the way, remove the monofin, and let it dry inside and out. If there is no zipper, just air-dry it, and check it after several hours to make sure the inside around the monofin is drying completely. You don’t want mold to develop there! If necessary, point a hair-dryer into that tail to make sure the inside gets completely dry.

You’ll find that both neoprene and silicone-latex rubber tails dry very quickly, much quicker than spandex tails.

Note: never, ever let your tail get into hot water. Heat is a big no-no for mermaid swim tails. If you want to wash it with soap, simply hand-wash it in a bathtub with a gentle soap.

Once your tail is rinsed and dry, it is easy to wrap the length of the tail around the monofin and store it on its side or laid flat in a drawer. Happy swimming!

Swimwear – Modern and Still Evolving

Every year Sports Illustrated publishes a swimsuit issue that shows off the latest swimwear worn by beautiful models. This issue consistently sells more than any other. Readers worldwide flock to look at pages filled with beautiful models in the hottest swim fashions. The fleshy beach scenes capture the American imagination and is part of our beach culture, surf culture, fashion, and athletics.

In Victorian times swimwear for women and men covered much more of the body. In the early 20th century an Austrian synchronized swimmer visited the United States in competition and was arrested for indecent exposure. After this high-profile event suit sizes began to shrink. The arms were exposed and then the legs came up to mid-thigh. In addition, new fabrics allowed for more comfortable and practical styles.

Today’s swimming suits are as much about fashion as they are about performance. Both men and women spend hours in the gym and thousands of dollars under the knife in order to look their best on the beach. Swim suits and coverups allow one to be seen on the scene and to strut their stuff. The bikini is perhaps the most revealing of all swimsuits. A women’s bikini consists of two pieces: one covering the chest and one covering the bottom. In Europe women’s bikinis can consist of just the bottom piece. Overseas exposing a woman’s top is considered far less taboo.

Bikinis are made for men too. This small piece is sometimes affectionately referred to as a Speedo because it resembles the minimalist athletic bathing suit for swimmers that Speedo has marketed to athletes. Again, overseas it is much more common to see less fabric and more body at the beach on men.

Businesses also market more modest lines . For women one-piece unitards are form fitting and practical. Men can wear knee length trunks. Floral patterns are known as jams and were extremely popular in the 1980s.

Athletic companies such as Nike and Speedo make high-tech specialized swimwear for athletes. In 2008 Speedo introduced a full body swimsuit designed to reduce the body’s drag in the water. Not long after world records started falling like never before. The 2008 Olympic Committee even evaluated whether at the swimsuit gave an unfair advantage and should be banned from the events. Athletes said that the swimsuit did not necessarily give them a physical advantage; however, it allowed them to feel more confident before they jumped into the pool.

Parents and coaches of young children had fears about the new performance fabrics. The suits cost hundreds of dollars and adults worried that these would become must-have items for juniors swimming competitively across the world. Swimming has typically been an inexpensive entry-level sport for kids. By placing swimwear front and center at competitive meets adults feared some athletes would be left out. In addition, parents already feel the financial squeeze of so many must-have items for their kids. The debate is ongoing.
